RTO is a totally analog holophonic processor. The processing of the audio signal takes place without the use of DSP and, therefore, is unaltered and without any digital resampling.
The available functions are 3:
1. "STEREO-BYPASS" function It is the physical Bypass. The signal is not processed.
2. "MONO" function Transforms the mono signal applied on the "LEFT" input or on the "RIGHT" input into "Pseudo-Stereo"
3. "HOLOPHONIC" function The stereo signal applied to the inputs is processed to obtain a HOLOPHONIC signal at the output, eliminating "bilateral interference" through a sophisticated phase correction process.
The effect is reproduced during recording and can be listened to through the loudspeakers.
Physical environmental separation of the transducers is necessary, therefore, listening through headphones does not re-propose the holophonic conversion process.
