PROMETHEUS ANALOG MODULAR SYNTHESIZER AMS-VOCODER – a compact yet rugged 84 HP Analog Vocoder, add-on module for your synthesizer ad your recording studio. AMS-VOCODER is 12 filters Analog Vocoder. The VOCODER is one of the most iconic vocal effects known. Used extensively in the 70s and 80s. AMS-VOCODER proposes this typical sound of the period in a totally analogue way. It works with 12 active filters: 1 low pass, 10 band pass and 1 high pass. It has 2 audio inputs: 1 for your voice or instrument (VOICE VOCODER INPUT) and 1 control (AUDIO INPUT) to which the sound source that will control your voice applies. The 2 audio inputs have selectable MIC or LINE sensitivity. The SCREAMING function allows you to add that typical hiss characterizing the VOCODER to your voice. Designed with an internal square wave oscillator with frequencies from 20Hz to 230Hz with dutycycle adjustment from 2% to 40%. An internal PINK and WHITE NOISE generator with gain adjustment is added. AMS-VOCODER is equipped with a GOOSENECK passive microphone and 2 analog vu-meters to monitor the PRE and POST audio signals. Featuring a 10-pin IDC connector and advanced protections, this module is your ticket to a simplified and efficient setup.
